I have always wondered what people at Rockstar games thought of my mods and I have never gotten a response from any of them until today!

While I found GwRockstar4 to be a very quiet gamer due to the fact that he was too busy being shot in the face to actually type anything (his own words by the way lol!) GwRockstar3 actually said as soon as he saw me in his last race game lobby "Hi switchdesigns cool mods!" I was like WTF they do know who I am and at least one of them likes my shit! Woooooot fuckin wooot!

That was all the motivation I could ever need to get my site back up and to make you all something great from Switch Designs for GTAIV. Even though this will take me about another week or so to complete feel good knowing that gtaforlife.com will be fully functional soon and better than ever before showcasing the latest modifications for GTA by me!

AND now for the bad news!

My file server got shut down and all downloads on the site are now down until further notice! (I need to pay for a new file server service and re upload everything!) Which will take me a week or so once I can get to it! (Please do not send me emails saying that my files are not working because I already know!)

I'm also moving to a bigger house this week so be looking at about 2 weeks with no downloads! If your looking for a mod in the mean time that was on this site you can find it usually by typing switchdesigns and the name of the mod into google! I know that there are many places on the net to download my mods one being softpedia and another with a few is gtagaming as well as many german and foreign sites!

I'm still in Los Angeles visiting family for Christmas and I managed to get some modding chores done while I was here!

This mod will replace your grenades in GTAIV with exploding Christmas presents that come in 4 different styles to choose from. The exploding Christmas presents also include a custom weapon hud icon for each type!

As a bonus I have included a warm red sport coat for Nico that replaces his first top clothing in the game!

Hopefully this new mod i made will help to push the unique visits up to 27k and to keep those of you that visit daily coming back for more! This mod will replace your bat in GTAIV with a new Star Wars Lightsaber. When I made my first Star Wars Lightsaber mod for GTAIV it was before it was possible to add custom made weapon models into the game and was nothing more than a pool stick with a special texture I made for it that turned it into a Lightsaber. This Lightsaber Version 2 is much more than just a texture edit it's a completely new model made by me. It comes with 3 different color options, glowing blade and a custom weapon hud icon too!

]]><![CDATA[PSP Go]]>Sat, 28 Nov 2009 04:02:22 -0800http://www.gtaforlife.com/1/post/2009/11/psp-go.htmlThis mod will change the MP3 player that the pedestrians carry in your GTAIV game into a new PSP Go. If you see someone walking down the street with one of these you can knock it out of their hand, pick it up and then throw it at them. It won't kill them but if the cops see you do it they will come after you for assault! It also comes with 4 different screen images to choose from.

For this Thanksgiving I have made a mod that will change the hidden pigeons in GTAIV into Thanksgiving Turkeys that you can hunt!
This mod also comes with a bonus mod called the Pilgrim Gun and it replaces the rifle in GTAIV with a new gun for hunting turkeys.
